This tip comes from Microsoft’s in-house Azure expert, Michael Crump. If you’ve created an Azure HTTP function trigger that you no longer need follow these steps to revoke the function and generate a new key:

• Go to your function and click “manage” and then “revoke key.” 
• Generate a new key by selecting “add new function key.” 
• Use the name “default” and leave the “value” space empty.
• Click “save.” 

When you go back to your function and click on “get function URL” you’ll see your new key. 

Archive Your Microsoft Azure Activity Log

Your activity log holds a wealth of insight about everything that happens inAzure. The data ranges from operational information from the Azure Resource Manager to updates on Azure’s Service Health. If you want access to this information after 90 days (when the log renews), you’ll need to create an archive. Here’s how:

• Go to Microsoft Azure Portal, select “activity log,” and then “export.” 
• Check “export to an Azure storage account” and select the number of days
• Click “save.” 

Now your Azure log will be completely backed up.

Share Your Microsoft Azure Dashboard

You can create a personal dashboard and share it with anyone who uses the same Azure subscription. This will give your team easy access and improve company cohesiveness, and you can do it in just a few steps:

• Go to the dashboard you want to share, click “share” and publish the dashboard as “Azure resource.” 
• Make sure you provide “role-based access control” so you can manage access. 
• Fill out the information that is asked, then click “publish.”  
• Go to “manage users” to enable sharing access among other users.
